This policy explains what personal data Lykeyaa ("Lykeyaa", "we") collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

When you place an order we collect:

  • your name, delivery address and pincode, so we can deliver your order;
  • your phone number, which must be on WhatsApp, so we can confirm your order and contact you about delivery;
  • the items you ordered and the order value.

When you browse, we keep a small number of cookies that the shop needs to work, such as your bag and your delivery pincode. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

If you join a waitlist for an area we do not deliver to yet, we keep the contact detail you give us and your pincode.

We do not ask you to create an account to shop, and we do not collect card or bank details.

Why we use it

  • To take, confirm, deliver and support your order.
  • To check that an order is genuine before we dispatch it. We may send a one-time password to your phone number, and we send a WhatsApp message with a link you tap to confirm the order.
  • To protect the shop from fake orders. We keep a record of orders that were refused at the door. Repeated refusals can stop cash on delivery for that phone number.
  • To tell you when we start delivering to your area, if you joined a waitlist.
  • To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping tax and accounting records.

We use optional analytics or marketing cookies only if you allow them. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

Who we share it with

We share only what each service needs to do its job for us:

  • our hosting and security provider, which runs this website and checks that visitors are not bots;
  • our WhatsApp messaging provider, which delivers order confirmation messages;
  • the person delivering your order, who sees your name, phone number and address.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as the law requires us to keep tax and accounting records. We keep waitlist details until we start delivering to your area or until you ask us to remove them. Cookie lifetimes are listed in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it (access);
  • ask us to correct or complete inaccurate data;
  • ask us to erase data we no longer need to keep;
  • withdraw consent you have given, for example for optional cookies;
  • raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied with our response, complain to the Data Protection Board of India;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to do so.

To use any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer using the details on our Contact & Grievances page. We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and respond within 30 days.

Children

This shop is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to place the order.

When we change this policy we publish the new version here with a new "Last updated" date.
